3 – 9 Dec 2018: Myanmar’s No.1 International Agriculture Production Industry Exhibition and Conference was held at the Myanmar Expo, Thaketa Township, Yangon from 6 – 8 December 2018 to capture the vast opportunities of growth and development available in the Agriculture production industry.
As recently as of December 2017, Myanmar’s Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation (MoALI) launched Myanmar’s Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Protocol and Guidelines to boost the productivity and profitability of farmers through sustainable farming. This positive step is aimed at improving access to quality agricultural inputs that would help farmers develop sustainable practices. Thus, with steps such as GAP Protocol and Guidelines, the Myanmar Government is fiercely bolstering the productivity and competitiveness of the Agricultural sector.
AGRI MYANMAR 2018, is a ‘one-stop’ platform to capture the business opportunities and expand on brand presence in this ‘Golden Land’. This event is expected to gather the participation of more than 200 international and local companies and brands from numerous countries including Malaysia, China, Taiwan and Thailand.
