Myanmar, a member of Asean is located to the last west country of region and second largest country among member of organisation. It has population about 60 millions made up of 135 ethnic group. The country is rapidly developing the economy since the people elected government for first time in 25 years.

YANGON
Also known as Rangoon, Myanmar’s largest city, formal Capital. It is by far the most exciting and vibrant place in the country to be. Asian investors and foreign Adventurers flock in. As Myanmar’s commercial and artistic hub, it’s Yangon that reflects the most on changes that have took place since the country reopened to the world.

Unlike other urbanised metro in neighbouring countries, Yangon offer unique atmosphere to its visitor and resident. No motorbikes or electronic bikes are allowed to be on Yangon streets. During the British colonial time, Yangon was known as Rangoon before it was changed, along with many other changes in English transliteration of Burmese names.

Yangon International Airport, located 12 miles (19 km) from the centre, is the country’s main gateway for domestic and international air travel. It has direct flights to regional cities in Asia, mainly: Doha, Dubai, Dhaka, Kolkata, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, Phnom Penh, Seoul, Guangzhou, Taipei, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Kunming and Singapore. Domestic airlines offer service to about tourist destinations such as Bagan, Mandalay, Heho and Ngapali, and to the capital Naypyidaw.

Myanmar offer visa free entry for all the Asean nationalities apart from Malaysia. For those who are not Asean countries nationality, you may either apply at your country Myanmar embassy or evisa online. Easiest and Most Convenient Public transportation is taxi, with relatively low charges anyway between 8,000 to 12,000 Myanmar Kyat.

Like any other countries in South East Asia, Ride Hailing Service like Grab is available in Myanmar. It is highly recommended mode of transport within Yangon region.

Bus services are much more efficient after YBS (Yangon Bus Service) took over the operation of buses service in Yangon since 2017. Buses are one of most convenient mode of public transport for local as well as Tourist. Most of bus fare are flat and fixed at which traveller pays only 200 Kyats regardless of stop.
